Make it so you can select a layer and convert all the instruments to a single instrument.
That sounds like a convenient feature when you make a song and a melody or counter melody sounds ‘off’ with the current instrument and you want a quick way to change it to a different instrument, but it would be completely useless unless you have each instrument on a seperate layer. You’ve got a promising idea, but it’s somewhat flawed.
