Pitch Quality.

So-Im working on a cover of the code lyoko theme song-(A world without danger) and i noticed that one of the guitar parts in the song seem to change in quality without changing in pitch-…here-

Listen to the part that comes in at :09. Its the same repeating pitch over and over, but the tone quality of it slowly shifts. I was wondering if its possible to implement this while making songs in Notessimo?

What you would have to do isn’t technically possible in Notessimo. Meaning there is no actual way to do it. You would have to cheat the system by either adding the same guitar at an octave above or maybe implement a background instrument. It’d be interesting to see how someone would do it, so I’ll leave the thread open in case anyone ever wants to post a song as an example.

Can’t wait to hear your cover. Code Lyoko is one of the few Japanese anime’s I’ve ever had the pleasure to watch.

I couldn’t actually find the instrument you were referring to. Maybe panning would work?

Code Lyoko is from France…

EDIT: One of the monsters in the show is called a creeper o.O

I wouldn’t say it’s impossible.

Difficult to replicate, not even. Use synth #2 and staccato the living shit out of it (thank you star wars for teaching me this new word).

Hence this stament:

Oh yeah, that’s called a flanger, notessimo doesn’t have it. But garage band, fruity loops, sony acid pro and a bunch of other music programs have it. It might possibly even be a ring modulator or a phaser.
