No, it’s not the fact that you talk about the methods of joining two haploid cells to form a diploid, or stem, cell, it’s the fact that the words are used in a manner that seems to insult one of the participants (namely you). In other words, if you’re gonna talk about it, make it non-offensive to the people involved.
