Yeah. Most of my loops have been even-numbered, and the serious stuff has been odd-numbered, so I tried to follow that convention. I easily have something to fill in 15, but I may just begin to number my songs as a whole from 00-99 or 000-999.
I intended for 11 to be an intro to something bigger… While I like the way it sounds, the note volumes sound a bit funny (I wish group select existed). If I have no ideas for it, I might use some of the elements from an older, unfinished orchestral piece.
13 is just a loop made out of boredom; I have no burning desire to add on to it, let alone any ideas as to how to integrate it into a song progression.
While on the topic of continuing songs, I made a somewhat decent transition for 00, so there’s a slim chance that I might be able to get some ideas flowing and actually finish the song. :b
Gathering links for and thoroughly organizing 300+ links to my compositions is unnecessarily tedious work. Thus, I have opted for an immensely easier shortcut: Only linking to my most recent songs, and possibly linking to signature compositions if time permits. If you feel the urge to rummage through my previous songs, feel free to visit my profile, click on the “My Content” button on the right, and click on “Songs” in the resulting page’s sidebar.
I understand that these actions defeat the practicality of having a song thread, but there exists much futility in trying to restore the thread’s practicality. Surely, you understand my sentiment as well as I do.
PS. Depending on how I feel in the coming weeks and months, I may edit more identifiable names into my previous songs so that everyone can access them easier. It’s definitely something to think about.
It’s been a while since I have had a cohesive song thread. The following updates are (the beginning of) an attempt to fix that.
Added what I remember as my best (relatively recent) songs, loops, and WIPs in the opening post.
Let me know if you think other songs should be there, and I’ll get back to you about them.
Added a link to a Google spreadsheet which I hope will house a revived song thread in the (near?) future.
If possible, please leave me constructive feedback regarding my Google spreadsheet so I can make improvements.
I’m in the middle of renaming my songs to fit the specific format of [song #].[version #] [title] [detail(s)] in order to sort and streamline my songs within My Content.
Please excuse any objectionable comments made by me in the past; I promise that I have grown up to at least some extent.
update:
don’t think i’m going to be working on anything in notessimo anymore. i’m lazy: i only compose short loops on onlinesequencer now (quicker & easier). if / when i find the drive, i’ll start producing for real on a pro daw (fl / ableton / etc.).
