MALICE マーリス 10-16

Could you guys specify what part of Strike we’re agreeing is below par here?
(Since the song is mostly made up of percussion anyway, I just wanted to make sure.
I have a hunch that it’s the drumwork bugging you guys, but I don’t know.)

I’m referring to the hi-hats and cowbells.

Cowbells, they’re so annoying…

Okay, no more cowbells and I’ll work on hi-hat usage. Meanwhile, you can
flail your arms in the air and herp derp derp like an idiot to Tiramisu,
while I get my other compositions finished.

Thank you for your time. c;

I quite liked it, it was mainly the low cowbells that seemed to be the problem…you could’ve used the range of congas/taiko drums instead, which would’ve made the song quite impressive…
and for the very last bit, the percussion really changed alot, it went from cowbells to full drum kit…
i liked it though

As of now, I don’t have the time or effort to participate in the Notessimo community. Leaving Notessimo was not a sudden action, but rather a gradual series of events caused by many flaws.

Most of the ~55000 songs created on Notessimo2 are either badly written or just plain silly.
Even though Starburst’s past online music games (AtemiS-Tracker, Notessimo) have much less features and ugly skins, they actually feel complete. Notessimo2, even with its’ polished Nightmare theme and improved interface, is still in beta after two years.
There are no preferences; no song descriptions or genres; no About, Contest, or Help pages; and the Shop has no products for sale.
It’s pretty clear that Starburst has abandoned Notessimo2 and moved on to other things.
There are too few moderators to keep the forum, riddled with spambots, under control.
There are too few regulars to talk to on the forum.
Where is that vBulletin update StarWars[XD] mentioned?
On my end, I just grew tired of playing the same thing over and over again.
And more…

My experience here on the Notessimo2 boards has been great, and my fellow Notessimo players have taught me much. However, I am sorry to say that, I will be on leave until further notice.
In other, more delightful news, I’ve released Climax. c:

Well I’m sad that you’re leaving. I’m also sad that all the things you said are true. Great new song. Bye.

:’(
You will be missed Karo…

XD Too much english… I’m lost, is Karo leaveing?

yes

Hold on, guys. I didn’t mean to be that harsh. Let me rephrase my preceding post.

This is not a publicity stunt; all I’m doing is taking a break.
I’ll be visiting from time to time, though I probably won’t compose or post much.
Sorry if I led you to believe otherwise.
If you want, you can PM me if you want to get in touch via e-mail or the like.
That’s all… <(^w ^<)

I’m also clearing my cache! Which means I’m sharing some songs, regardless of how finished they are.

Oh, okay. We have hundreds of users doing that.

Yeah most of our once-active members don’t post or don’t make songs anymore. Just the cycle of Notessimo…

Heh, pretty much the same reason I left a while back. Seems tempting to do so again, at least until improvements are made to the site and/or Notessimo 2 itself.

Wait, what? You never came back in the first place! 5 posts is more like “Hi! Goodbye!”

XD, now other name Change!!!

I think I’ll be sticking to High Charity for a while…
Sorry for the inconvenience! ^^;;

In other news, disregarding the double post,
Gah! I’m attempting to share Cîroc (ex Jawbone) with you guys, but it seems like there’s another share bug goin’ around.
Could someone please verify or disprove my findings?

Many thanks, Karo.

Oh no, I couldn’t share any songs either.
Hopefully it won’t last too long.

Since that share bug was fixed, I present the demo… Cîroc.

Let’s take a walk down memory lane… c:
Rhodes #1 solo piece.
OP is newfag.
Coriolis loop.
Short-lived return to Notessimo.
These four links probably represent my best compositions prior to my stint as Karo.
