MALICE マーリス 10-16

I am!

I wish I was ambidextrous. :frowning:

Ok, i’m too left handed, but I play guitar and basketball (and others things, but generally this two) lika a right handed

Ohai, guys! Karo again.
I just updated my song thread with some of my most recent tracks (Old School and the Demo series).
I also colour-coded the thread with respect to how much I (and partially, the community) like the songs.

One more thing… Feel free to remix my tracks. I love to see what brilliance comes out of your epic reworks, guys!
Hope you like these new changes! I’ll be lurking around as usual.

FUCK YES

Ecstatic! c:

=/
I need some moral support now

Karo is exaggerating, obviously half her songs can’t be garbage.

Yeah, Nuselline’s right.
What I’m trying to say is that I don’t regard my work on such collaborations as that great. These white tracks are most definitely not garbage, I’m just saying that they’re not as good, catchy, or revolutionary as I’d want them to be. Your work on these collaborations has helped me a whole bunch. In return, I suppose I should be a little less harsh and raise them up a level or two once I get home. I’m dearly sorry for the inconvenience. ^^;;

Also, if you guys would like to know, I feel that his rating system isn’t great. Not to bash Karo, but I think some of his songs he puts white should be a different color than what he puts, and some dark blue ones shouldn’t be dark blue.
Not to bash Karo or anything; just an opinion.

Karo’s opinion is his own. If 4in1 hated Funfield’s Race, I would say “Oh well.” Try to be a little more respectful of his opinion.
Then again, if Karo’s opinion is swayed, then don’t worry about the statement above.

I think it’s hard to judge your own songs. I tend to judge my own on how hard they were to make.

I was mainly going for respect on QVX’s part.
You should look at my thread; you may think one song in the semi-good/semi-bad section should be at the top of the good section.

I’ve contemplated these statements for a while, and ultimately decided to uncategorize my tracks via colour. Without having to constantly update colours according to my ever-changing opinions of my tracks, I’ll be able to focus on the more factual, relevant aspects. Perhaps I’ll add genres or something to make up for it if I have the time and effort. c:

Regarding recent, unshared compositions, I have:
A long awaited continuation of Supercell,
Two new demos,
A possible rework of Demo Nine,
And a whole bunch of other surprises!

Can’t wait!

You make music so quickly! c=

It’s beautiful, isn’t it? C:

Organization is quite important, but having the thread look the way YOU want it to is the most important, and while everyone’s opinion matters, ultimately you should rely on your own opinion when it comes to ranking a song.

The reason I state this is because your thread looks rather unfinished from my point of view, and i have a few suggestions. Using images from outside notessimo tells people more about yourself (well, maybe not in my case, but that’s a different issue entirely), and categories lend a more professional look, along with making easier to spot the better songs from the view of a person who hasn’t heard them yet. Also, song quality isn’t the only category to consider, there are plenty. Good luck with that.

Thanks for the great constructive input, Star! I’m going about trying to make the thread look a li’l more polished to everyone’s eyes, but still leaving the spotlight on the songs themselves, rather than putting the focus on some of the frivolous styling or surplus information. I’m sure you know what I mean when I say this. c:

In technical or literal regards, I’m actually listing my tracks under well-defined labels which designate the type of song being made. If more information is needed to distinguish or describe a particular song , it shall be done within parentheses after the track name. Before the date of publication, there will be some sort of marker to act like a rating system, based on my own opinion and partially by particular interest within the community (a fan favorite, being featured, etc.). I’ll add more stuff when (and if) necessary. d:

Haha! LOVE the power-bars used for ranking the songs. Be sure to add a key so everyone will know what it means. Nice.

Que o quien te inspira a crear tantos demos, y a traducir mi respuesta?

I moseyed on over to Google Translate, copied and pasted that question into the textfield, and received the translation,
“What or who inspires you to create as many demos, and translate my answer?”’

To be honest, I don’t know what my inspiration is. I’ve been taking piano lessons since I could remember up to about last year, that could be one contributing factor. My creative mind is able to translate notes onto Notessimo easier, faster, and more efficiently than words onto paper and many other things. When I hear something I really like, or anything for that matter (a catchy riff, something I remembered from the morning radio, etc.), I usually try to integrate that into my compositions. For example, I often use chords when I improv, so that makes up a giant portion of what my music is based on. I hope the jumbled paragraph makes sense to you. ^^;;

By the way, thanks for asking! Got my mind revved up for the day ahead.
