Well here’s a song i made a few days ago:

(I often forget to log on BEFORE sharing songs so all my songs are in “anonymous’ songs” and can only be found via searching my username)

Well this is all my opinion:
Good=

Nice and quiet
Like the electric pianos
Damant Spectrums were a great touch
Fender guitar was nicely used (except for end)

Not good=

I didn’t really like the Marimbas, they didn’t really fit in (sounded too techno)
The compound seconds sounded a little dodgy (where you had two electric guitars every bar)
I didn’t like the guitar in the sheets at the end (starting from bar 110), but the first three bars in sheet 8 were ok.
As it was all repeated it kinda sounded monotonous, some “break” would be good

All in all I would give a 3.4999/5, but I think it could probably fetch a 4.4999/5.

@That winter song (sorry I’m editing so I can’t quote),
It was really good! I loved all the instruments, the saturn one, the voxes, they were all great. Good work reproducing a seamless landscape. Everything flowed in together and complemented each other, the drums were nice and steady and the flutes really added the chocolate sprinkles (very important). The only thing that ruined the piece was the road works going on, I don’t know what instrument it was (choir perhaps?) but they really diverted our attention. I know you were going for that “obscure” atmosphere but instead it came out as a diseased and polluted one. Perhaps lower the sound or choose another instrument. 4.4999/5

Arrival Winter Song = GOOD!!!

Hmm…is this the correct thread?

Mist was a great song, kalabasa. The background melody was nice and I liked the violins. I think it belongs in the Techno thread though.

Long song is long!

The beginning is a bit disordered for a reason.

Wow that was another great, song, auroracirrus. I really loved the rain effect, especially the thunder rumbles (though I thought the end was a little choppy). I really think it’s a great piece, loved the Clarinets and the drums, and the piano was a great melody throughout. Definitely 5/5.

Hey thanks for crediting me! i don’t think I can “copyright” that sound effect but it was nice of you.

Wow rainy thunder sound effects!
Another great auroracirrus song!

And here’s mine:

It’s from long ago, but I think I want to post it again.

Very nice song! I loved the drums and the chords were really clever. Great work!

Clever chords? :D :)
I think I used chords Am and Em only. *Laughs like insane  *

You shouldn’t have said anything.

Why? Laughs insanely

slowly backs away

slowly walks forward, while laughing slowly and insanely

Wait…

Kalabasa3
Kalabasa…?

I smell something wierd, yet sexy coming along here.

Is this Ambient? (Don’t listen after the 13th sheet. It’s another song)

Ahh there’s two of them!

And great song! Love how the smooth violin contrasts to the bouncy red guitars and drums. At the end bit I like the “futuristic” feel or whatever it was. The melodies interweaved nicely. I also love the “egh” sound made by the #2 snare drums. I liked your song, although it was a little too “happy” (major) for my tastes. It would have been a great boss song in a game, I think. It would have been better off in the Techno thread too though but it’s alright here. 3.64/5
