Sometimes. Theyā€™ll just reuse the characters from the original three games most of the time.

Of course, if itā€™s special, itā€™ll have a Muse song or two.

Add a few new gameplay mechanics here and there to keep things different. Most of the games just play the exact same as the others save for three having one thing that sets each one apart. Not saying I donā€™t like the series or anything.

thatā€™s just it though. adding more elements will cause the game to have a terrible learning curve. its fine as it is. nobody plas 16x16 tic tac toe because its simply too complicated, and not in a (im not smart enough/too lazy to learn) way. needlessly complicating things is not good, unless it was a custom already. the only thing that would make a rhythm game different is through songs, and well, rock isnt the most original genre tbqh and can get boring
