Minecraft managed to do what other games that call themself “horror games” couldn’t.

It scared me.

Minecraft is a 1000 times scarier then any F.E.A.R or Amnesia, mainly because in Minecraft no events are pre-made scenarios that were created by a programmer. In Minecraft, everything feels much more real, and much more dangerous.

Minecraft is by far the scariest game I’ve ever played. The fact that the world is randomized and enemies can spawn anywhere in darkness adds to the fear factor. Most other games have enemies on set routines and placements, ultimately making the game predictable. I play with the volume loud too, so when I hear a Skeleton shoot at me, it usually makes me jump.

I find Minecraft the most frightening out of all the horror game’s I’ve played, like Silent Hill 1.

I have Dead Space… I laugh at that game. But this… it gives me nightmares.

EDIT EDIT: Lol at me at 1:45, getting scared and jumping backwards into a pit with a skeleton.

So I was trying to set up a … thingamagic with Slip so we could play together. How do you do that?

Also on Youtube there are a lot of videos with … different coloured bricks and stuff. How did they get that?

Oh and I’ll erally hate it when the torches are not permament. They are a life-saver.

2. open minecraft.jar (look at png above) with same program.
3. select all files in the new texture pack (from step 1), and drag into the minecraft.jar (from step 2)

Also, I don’t know how to set up smp.

only SMP has to normally use IPs, so I’m going with that.

And what are griefers?

In game trolls. They go around deleting the stuff you build.

yeah what he said, griefers are players who destroy for fun… it is rare, but not unheard of on the server.
