As i said in the techno forum…except in better words
THIS SONG IS KICKASS!!! too bad that is an understatement your not going to see my type that very often in this forum so consider it means its really high up there lol
Strange everytime i listen to On The Moon…i kinda feel the urge to cry
Now how does that work? The word “cry” and a laugh emote don’t belong in the same sentence.
Now onward with your new song:
Pretty damn good. Smooth transitions, catchy melodies (the one near the end was very beautiful) and an effective bass.
Here’s a bit of criticism: There are occasional ugly notes (like near the end) that pop up, and I didn’t find the techno bass #1 section as brilliant as the rest of the piece. Also, more diversity in the percussion would be great (it’s still pretty fucking awesome). But that’s just me nit-picking. Overall, your new song is pretty awesome. 5/5
I loved pretty much the whole song. It was a very different use of instruments for you, with the same amount of epicness however. It reminded me of a Megaman tune, and I love those. The only things I found wrong were that the drums were a bit too powerful during the solo/whatever is on sheet 31. And the last 3 chords of the song for the synth nearly made my ears bleed. Too high and too wierd. And the last sheet was out of place too. I think you could have done a better job on that part.
“On the Moon” was AMAZING! I loved the echo effect, and I was glad that an Uber Drummer like you paid so much attention to the notes. The only thing I was dissapointed about was that the ending felt like a bit of a rip-off. Other than that, I enjoyed it quite a lot. Keep it comin’!
I don’t understand the hate for the ending. Just think, how else can you possibly end the tale of a man experiencing an epic journey on the moon? BY CUTTING OFF HIS OXYGEN. My goal here with the last few sheets was to capture your attention with a few good melodies and then throw it back at you at 1000MPH. Why would I do that? Because I can.
Yup, its just the rules of art… and if that rule didn’t exist than this painting wouldn’t have sold as the most expensive painting in history at $300 million
