For the swing effect as used in this song, just split each measure (note value 64) into 40-24 as opposed to 32-32. If you want a triplet effect (sheet 27, measure 7 with the cymbals), just add split the 40 into 20-20.

The best portamento/pitchbend I can come up with is using a very short note just prior to the note you want to bend to, as you can see with the E.P.s in this song. I’ve made better, but it sounds nice don’t it? :stuck_out_tongue:

I kinda get a Streets of Rage vibe off of this. And I gotta say, it’s kinda great.

Do you think you’ll consider adding more to what you’ve got here? I’d love to see more put into this! :smiley:
