This comment is really directed at the mods, but unless this thread gets deleted, there’s really no point in locking it. The only real reason for locking a topic is if you want to keep it around, but don’t want any more messages on it (like the forum rules). If someone can give me a reason other than just “it’s not being used anymore” (most of the threads aren’t), then the thread can be locked, otherwise it should stay as is.

Maybe for Legendary Threads (ones that changed the hearts of millions) there should be a Hall of Fame topic for those kinds of things. Thet’re locked so nobody can post in them. People can view them and remember them for memorable purposes. Just what I think should happen to all of those memorable threads (such as this one)
