Yeah.
That.
Yeah.
That.
Hey guys tell me if you think I should finish this or not…kinda have mixed feelings. Oh, and don’t mind the title.
This could turn into fireworks.
LOL I wonder who the title is making fun of? ![]()
PLEASE FINISH THAT!!! (and also please get the next part of our collab done!)
=o That song will defintely get featured Star.
Anyways, since I like being simple I’d thought I’d keep something as simple as Eternal War and mix that with something like Mechanical Dukeout.
I wasn’t sure what to call it but…like everyone would say when they listen to my songs…meh.
Well, visually speaking, that was nice. However, after giving it a listen while looking away from the screen, I didn’t enjoy it as much. No offense (I’m about to offend you), but I thought it sounded a bit generic. It feels like it has been done thousands of times already. Also, I didn’t like the instruments you used. For example, synth #1. In my opinion, it only sounds good when you’re making harmonic intervals with it. You used it in its raw form, which sounds dry and completely devoid of any life. It’s a very boring synth, really. As for that effect with the fret noise, I felt it was there simply to make the piece visually awesome. The moment you introduced other sounds into the song, the effect didn’t seem significant anymore.
Well, those are my thoughts. I really hope I don’t come off as someone who is impossible to impress. ![]()
Of course not. I randomly made that one day and left it for dead, hence it’s title and my mixed feelings. I was thinking about adding a bit more to the part where the song changed, but I didn’t know if it was even going to be worth it, hence my post. I just didn’t think that the other guys, especially Unkowned, would like it so much.
Unk, I prefer Mechanical Dukeout better.
Well seeing as my post in the first songs area was liked I did decide to keep on working on the song I posted.
I would still like to know what I should tweak with it, rather certain notes, or entire segments.
cheers, cake. ![]()
I think it’s near-perfect! ![]()
The ending wasn’t really that good though, is it meant to be a loop, or is it unfinished?
The ending I’m not sure about
it has that potential but I want it to be more than that, seeing as it does have much more potential than such. If I knew what to do I would do it.
Well I think you should make a kindof bridge section in the middle, without the flutes or the synth voxes to give the listener a little break.
lol well can’t do that today anyways, I’m off to work. But if i can think of anything Ill see what I can do. You can shoot for it too if you want.

Oh, I also wanted to say that the fret noise is there to make the closed-high hat sound a bit more dynamic, it just so happens to look odd as well. As for the Synth…well you’re probably right. But don’t worry, I plan on introducing intervals later on so that should be absolved. It really is a boring synth, because unlike the other synths, it doesn’t have a really good purpose other than background.
Well, those are my thoughts. I really hope I don’t come off as someone who is impossible to impress.
Haha always remember this post and you will never be doubted again:
You need to reset your polls so I can vote for your new song. Seriously, dude, that was great.
The rain sounds, the strings, the bass…all of it was amazing. I also liked the uplifting atmosphere in it.
Don’t know what to complain about…I can’t find anything wrong with it. 5/5.
We all have our likes and dislikes, you and DD seem to like more orchestral and ambient pieces, Unknowned likes techno, and I like rock. It’s good that the people around here are so diverse.
I was just mindlessly digging through my saved cookies thing and I found this:

Thoughts? I will be finishing it.

Hey, Can anyone tell me what song this is? I heard it somewhere but it didn’t say the name of the song. I would really like to search it so I can finish the song. (and yes, this song does belong in this section because it is unfinished, but it’s also a “request”. Loophole, mabye?)
UN Owen was her?
And the question mark is part of the title.
