I’m trying to decide what anime I should watch next. Does anybody have any suggestions? I have no particular preferences in genre as long as the plot is interesting. Also, if anyone wants to use this thread as a place to discuss anime in general, feel free to do so.
I don’t watch anime, but what I would do is try to find a show that is just coming out so you are able to watch from the beginning of the series. If not, I’m sure you could find one on adult swim on cartoon network.

I’m watching Dragonball Z on Nicktoons (lol) and I’ve tried watching One Piece before (when it was on Toonami), but I didn’t like it. I’ve never heard of the last one.

Never ever ever ever (to the infinte and beyond evers) watch One Piece in English. They completely ruined the show and made it for kids. Though I think Your parents would get mad at you if you watched it in Japanese.

Oh. Lots of Anime in their native language do, but probably not as bad as what you’re saying. Heck, even Pokemon throws around a few (moderate) swears when in Japan.
