When I heard about it, I was seriously depressed and had trouble sleeping, knowing that people were dying from this desease and how quickly it was spreading.

Now they seem to have put it on hold, with experimental drugs and whatnot. So Iā€™m super happy thatā€™s happened.

Vinyl usually has a better sound quality than CDā€™s, but unless you were using real high quality speakers it probably wouldnā€™t sound too different. It uses analog recording, rather than digital recordings on CDs (I donā€™t really know how it can effect sound tho, iā€™m too lazy to read into it) where digital recording is just a binary representation for use on software, like mp3, from analog recordings.
Vinyl also has great artwork and packaging a lot of the times, which makes owning it more worth it. You can get different colored records and the box can be a great display item.
It can also give you a better feeling of ownership of an item you invested your money in.
Itā€™s also nice to show off large collections of vinyl.
Vinyl is just overall more worth it than buying a CD.
