Vinyl usually has a better sound quality than CD’s, but unless you were using real high quality speakers it probably wouldn’t sound too different. It uses analog recording, rather than digital recordings on CDs (I don’t really know how it can effect sound tho, i’m too lazy to read into it) where digital recording is just a binary representation for use on software, like mp3, from analog recordings.
Vinyl also has great artwork and packaging a lot of the times, which makes owning it more worth it. You can get different colored records and the box can be a great display item.
It can also give you a better feeling of ownership of an item you invested your money in.
It’s also nice to show off large collections of vinyl.
Vinyl is just overall more worth it than buying a CD.
