This is my first post, but not my first song. I am open to critical review, but please, only have constructive criticism. I’m actually looking forward to it. I already know that the second-to-last orchestra hit is odd, or that the orchestra hits should be removed, but I left them there because I like them (they help change it up).
The song was intended to be used only with synth strings, but I got bored of the sound… (so in case you were wondering, that is why I used something as horrible as synth strings instead of something like the flute).
I’m also working on a challenge to make a song using only 3 instruments: flute, snare, and electric keyboard. It’s not going well XD.
And on a completely unrelated note:
somebody needs to change the mispelling of “miscellaneaous” to “miscellaneous” (one of the song categories)
delete the “instruments” tab under “browse” or do something with it
work on Notessimo’s code. I would love to, but I don’t know how. I’d start with simple things, like adding easier editing things that would let you delete all notes of an instrument, etc. I could probably make a list of 10,000 things.
Wow, very repitive but very nice nonetheless. I like the beat of the bass drums, they were… (don’t know a word to describe them, calm, maybe?)
Welcome to Notessimo! Hope you don’t “fizzle out” with merry welcomes (I’m sorry, that was a very lame joke). Oh, here’s a tip: to get rid of that annoying two-measure at the end of a duplicated sheet, press the button next to play, then pause, then press ply as normal. Works wonders.
Oh, and one final note: I think this would sound awesome with some low synths acting as a harmony. You should try that.
Are you talking about when you play it back and sometimes there is a silence between the sheets for no reason? (I didn’t know it was only when you duplicated sheets, thanks for that.) What I do to solve that is I click on every sheet within about 4 sheets or so of the “problem sheet”, but your way is much faster.
