I don’t see how people can do covers, when I attempt, I get 4 seconds in and ffail.

I have a lot of trouble too. Some people are better at it than others.

Patience I guess. Idk, but i took like a month off of doing this because I was too lazy to complete sheet 6 and 7…
When I do a cover, I always find a MIDI first. If I have no MIDI, practically every pitch will be wrong. With “Iza, Taoreyuku Sono Toki Made”, I just combined a bunch of MIDIs and filled in the rest. With Lilium, I actually “stole” animefanboy’s notes from his Lilium and then changed the instruments. But on the second part, I didn’t have anything to guide me and I mysteriously made it great.
tl;dr I suck at listening by ear so I use MIDI.
