I think they do it because they think it’s fun.
Also, there is actually a fourth strand of it they found one month ago. It will kill any anti-malware you have along with blocking DNS lookups and disabling AutoUpdate like the others.
Ahhhh!!! The curse of SP!!!
Oh wait, I’m not spacepixel.
They probably have cranky families who have to live with their mothers or something to join something so secret they can’t go out into the streets 24/7 because they just do it like it’s a drug. They think it’s fun and okay when it’s NOT!
I don’t think I’m infected. I have no virus protection ar virus scan or anything like that. However, my computer is linked to my parents’s computer via ethernet cable, and they have a virus protection thingy, so maybe it hit that one, got scared, and left. Or it just hasn’t showed any signs of damage/infectedness yet.
I didn’t use any computer during April Fool’s Day. That way I won’t get infected by the configure worm (also known as the April Fool’s Day worm).
Ask.com question: How many computers were infected by a configure worm?

Conficker (Configure) Worm: April 1st Update
PCmag.com is calling the whole conficker worm scare “Much Ado About Nothing.”
The worm did become active, and it seems most of the infected computers were in Asia:
As of Monday, 45% of the Conficker.c-infected computers were traced to Asian IP addresses, while another 31% were pegged to European addresses. South American accounted for 14% of the total, and just 5.8% of the infected PCs were using IP addresses associated with North America, Stewart said.
–Quote from another PCmag.com article.
But the worm has not wreaked havoc on the internet as some feared.
My advice is the same: keep your anitvirus software current. You are asking for trouble if you don’t. I wrote about how to get rid of this particular worm in a previous article. [/i]
Actually I heard about this a few days ago in school, they said that the virus at first was suppossed to seem harmless, and theat it will take all of your information and erase all data in your computer, and tat even if ur computer is on, as long as it’s connected to internet, it is in danger of the worm, and my teacher replied Oh what weirdoes, why would anyone do those things, if theyre gonna be weird, go do it in ur own houses!
Thats all I know about the worm.
I remeber the good old times, we got laptops at our schools and I kinda…Played halo in the middle of class and… Sent A VBS Virus to my teacher… and… deleted someones lunch account
Well, on topic, I haven’t had any viruses before. Problems with a laptop? yeah. Whenever I’d click the chrome icon on my taskbar, my laptop would freeze.
