help me get rid of the bots by looking through profiles, if they have something like “homemade sex porn” in their interests, then it seems obvious they are a bot. If something in there profile info doesn’t make sense, such as an occupation of say “real” or if the last visited comes up with a “-” then they are a bot. If they have an obvious porn, dating, or advertising as a site, then they also are a bot.

I appreciate the effort, but banning bots is almost pointless. They’ll keep coming with new names again anyways.
There’s gotta be something Starburst can do to stop them completely. (And erase their profiles or something, 24571 users? Betcha 24500 are bots…)

my plan is to erase as many as possible, because I don’t think Starburst can get rid of bots that already have accounts, but at least this way we can slightly diminish the number. (star really has to stop them from creating accounts)

I agree with Kd, we have 24000+ bots, and anyway it’s only a few of them that are posting.

Also, instead of copying the link, would you be able to just post the names? (it’d take the same amount of time for you and the banning system works by listing their names)

Just banned the other 8. I gotta tell ya, listing the names like that makes it so much easier. Copy/paste 'em all and done, love it.

The only problem is, banning members doesn’t remove them from the user list. For instance I banned these guys twice, but they’re still counted as members.

Don’t think so. Seems Starburst can only delete members.

He should visit lke every week and ban the permanently banned

And Ix, have it the way you had it before, each user = new line thats how you input the users to be banned
