After copying a wide selection of notes (likely 8 bars min; needs more testing) and then switching to Draw tool, selection can only be pasted in a new sheet/layer and not the existing sheet/layer. Last copied selection will be lost upon switching to another tool or undoing.
On a relative note, it’s pretty awkward having to switch to Draw tool manually whenever I want to copy something.
Awww yes, I will tweak that so that it works better. I did most of my testing with the “Touch” tool which does allow you to copy / paste without changing tool.
A quick fix for one of your issues would be to tweak the “copy” command to switch automatically to “Draw” after a “Copy” if using the “Select” tool.
I’ll look into the lost copy selection and makes sure it preserves it when switching tool / undo.
