isnt there a restriction on how many emoticons you can have in a post?
I’m sorry to be blunt, but this isn’t really that great.
One thing, relating to the description, it’s just a bunch of spammed nonsense claiming that the song is amazing and people should like it because you made it, and not because it sounds good.
Second, it seems that you don’t entirely have a grasp on music theory. You have no ostinato pattern, which, granted is not necessary, but often used to maintain some kind of back-beat in a song to keep it rhythmically equal and even.
Third, you just made one section of music and looped the exact thing over and over again, which is not the makings of a great song. Look at songs by Apocoloptogon, AliensExist, or Hellstick. Many of their songs contain some form of song structure, between choruses, verses, riffs, and different scales in music, Like B-flat major or one of any other form of scale.
Fourth, you used very few instruments, which in minimalist music, such as done by real-life composers like Steve Reich or Philip Glass, can sound good. However, the way you’ve done it doesn’t really do that much for the song.
Fifth, while not a huge complaint, you left the tempo at the base value of 120, not really changing anything to make it faster or slower for any more effect.
Sixth, you don’t seem to edit note length very much. Most of what I see are default notes such as whole notes, many quarter notes, and maybe a few eighth notes. If you were to edit them to length, it’d sound more natural. For instance, at 25 seconds in, you have a french horn playing a whole note with much more empty space after, which if edited to around a length of 96, it’d fill the space.
perfect, amazing. 10/10
thanks aliesn exist
