This is becoming a bit of a pet peeve of mine. Gets awful tedious to have to manually select each instrument and re-paste them in the layer they were originally on.
Obvious workaround is to not copy each layer at once and instead copy each layer individually. If you’re working with multiple bars, extend the sheet beforehand with single notes.
