My suggestion is to have more options when changing the art for a song or album. This would also be useful for if users are restricted from uploading images due to join date or user level.
One idea for this would be to input a Unicode character or emoji to display:
Another idea is to have edits of the Notessimo logo similar to the category art of the old site:
