Yes. That is it. Enough said. This thread should be locked, because there is nothing else that is to be said. You took what all 17 of us who regularly post wanted to say, and mashed it into two senteces. I (and the other 15 of us who regularly post) should all agree with this completely accurate statement, for if we don’t, we are only lying with ourselves.

You guys disgust me. You’re are acting like Rock and Metal music were the best thing to ever happen. Just because something doesn’t have a guitar in it “blasting those br00tal riffs”, doesn’t mean it’s garbage that obviously required no talent to create.

Oh, and incase you didn’t know, Band Hero is aimed at little kids and adults. Not everyone likes metal, and little kids and adults are usually the ones who don’t like it. I know, people not liking metal is insane, right?

And as for DJ Hero, I think it looks like an alright game. The thing I mainly look for in a game is challenge, and DJ Hero offers it. I hear it’s pretty challenging from numerous sources, so I wouldn’t mind trying it out. But all the music is bad apparently, cause rap is terrible because no reason.

Honestly, I think it’s hilarious that you guys bash rap artists. Why don’t you guys write a song, mix the backing track, and produce it? Not hard, since it’s bad music and requires no talent to make, right?

I’m with Benzee on this one. A lot of people don’t seem to understand that “good music” and “bad music” are subjective terms.
It’s because of this that “fuck [insert music genre here]” comments occur frequently and man, I’m sick of it.

Not exactly DJ Hero, but the unneccessary flaming of Rap/Hip-Hop. How would you like it if I just went on everyone’s threads in the Songs forum and was like “this hav gitar in it, it suks dumb noob” or something like that? I mean, did you even read my post?

I end up listening to rap/pop everyday when Im driving in the car with my brother. Do I like it? No. But Do I hate It?thats a no too.
I dont like it for a simple reason: I dont like music with singing. I dont even like metal that has singing.

I dont think that rap music is easy to make. People in the locker rooms try to make a rap, and when I think it sounds ok, someone will be like, “Hey! You had 16 syllables in the first line and 18 in the second! YOU SUCK!!!” or something like that. It always makes me laugh.

What about Nintendo? thier not willing to make games that would get them buttloads of money because it would be “bad for the children”

That’s because the games that are good for children are popular and any age can enjoy them. They’re not going to change that if they’re making a ton of money with them. Same with Neversoft/Activision. They are already getting money with music games, and they’re going to keep making them. In the end, DJ Hero is just another music game.
