This brings me way back. Haven’t heard this song for…what? 5 years maybe.
I kept feeling like it was a little too fast. Maybe around 10 beats over. Somewhere around that.
Otherwise, this sounded almost exactly like what I remember. This is one of my favorite tunes from Donkey Kong 64.

TFB said like exactly what i was thinking…its also one of the most memorable tracks, but the reason why it sounds faster is because the boss theme is faster than the original track (which is the same but slower) used for one of the levels.
