The drums were bad. (Snares should usually be on Beats 2 and 4) Cymbals changed too much.
There was no bassline.
It was repetitive.
Trombones were too quiet.
Sped up in an odd-fashion.
So dramatic.
Leave him alone. He is just a new member and doesn`t deserve this kind of trash.
What trash? He’s overreacting for no apparent reason.

I agree with THEFinalBoss. He goes out of his way to listen to your song, and comment on it, so you can improve. I don’t see many other people doing this.
If you don’t agree with what he said, that’s ok as people have different opinions. But don’t take it out on people who are trying to help you.
There is nothing wrong with him giving criticism, I agree. But the tone by which he gives his criticism, I feel, is blunt and disrespectful, especially since the TC explicitly mentioned that he’s sensitive about his work. Instead of writing short, cold, uncaring sentences, how about making it more personal? Perhaps add a few words of encouragement?
Compare:
“The drums were bad.” vs “I wasn’t a fan of the drums.”
“There was no bassline.” vs “I feel that adding a bassline would improve it.”
“Trombones were too quiet.” vs “I wish the trombones were louder.”
And then top it off with something like “That aside, I feel you have the potential, keep trying!”
(Surely if he’s such a good person to go out of his way and give some feedback, he could put in the extra minute to flesh out his sentences, right?)
I don’t blame TC. If I were on the receiving end of that comment, I know I would be upset, even if the intent was “to help”.
THEFinalBoss, I have noticed this is a trend with the comments you have been posting lately, and it has been bothering me. Perhaps it isn’t my place to be telling you this, but I hope you read this and think about it, please.
I definitely agree. But I think maybe bad harsh criticism is better than no criticism, in my opinion. Also I don’t know who TC is.
