Would you call this dubstep? It’s my best guess at what this is, I was basically just trying to make a heavy sounding song that wasn’t metal so I wasn’t really thinking of what this would be called.

Dubstep was my best guess at what it was, I was kinda trying to write doom metal and dubstep at the same time, and the result came out like this. I have no idea what it is but I might make my next song in this style, I’m scrapping this melody for sure, but probably this sort of thing done a bit better.

Well techically dubstep consists of a heavy bassline as a melody.
I’d say industrial or something like that…
