Measure three, the D# needs to be Eb or the Bb needs to be A#.
Why? They’re the exact same notes? For visual appeal?
I suggest Eb.
The fifth of D# is A#.
The fifth of Eb is Bb.
They’re not the same notes, one is a D, the other is an E, D# and Eb are enharmonic.
You’re using C major.
The harmonic progression is, I - iii - bIII - ivsus4 - IV
This is C - em - Eb - fmsus4 - F.
Therefore, the chord should be, Eb G Bb.
If, for some reason, you’re using B# major, the chord is D# F## A#.
D# G Bb is just wrong.
You never mentioned anything about chords, just notes lmao
I did specified measure three, so, I thought it would be obvious that I was talking about the chord, considering that’s the only thing happening there.
D# G Bb is fine. It’s the sound that truly matters
Also, with the update. It needs a better bass.
who cares about music theory when we have notessimo
sounded awesome til that last phrase which was strange sounding
a radioactive growling animal, i guess.
There’s no Monster-Esque themed icon
It feels a bit empty, correct you are.
The kick needs a bit more “umpfh” in my opinion. I realy like how the bass sounds at 0:21 though! Might try n make something similar in one of my future compositions - who knows? The ending (from the 2:10 mark) is prob my fav part of the song, and the effect at 2:17 is totally something i would have done as well:)
