The recent trend for adverts seems to be taking a song (usually by someone too edgey for adverts) slow it down ridiculously play it on classical instruments instead of guitars or synths and make sure that someone of the opposite gender does the cover.

This really annoys me so I made some ad songs out of songs with more questionable lyrics for the top keks and mad bants. 1st one is my fave.

i remember someone doing a shitty cover of “in the air tonight” for an ad. was fucking annoying

Maybe it’s a UK thing. The most recent one is the advert for quantum break doing a advert version of come as you are by nirvana.

I see. It legit sounds like the distortion guitar from v3 with a fuckton of reverb. It’s terrible.
