butchered… in other words you killed it… made it sound horrible.
For starters, the idea was alright but having your ‘additions’ to the song FAR louder than the original instruments… not a good idea. If you drop the sound of the added instruments and raise the original instruments, it should sound better. You want people to hear the song your remixing, not listen to a bunch of overused instruments and no music.
