Techno - 110-140
Hardstyle - 130-150
Rock** - 120-160
Happy Hardcore or Chiptune - 160-180
Hardcore or Metal/Death Metal - 175-230-ish
Speedcore - 250-about 400
Splittercore/Terrorcore - 500-1000
Extratone (which is pretty much impossible on Notessimo) - +1000 and up. LOL.
*You don’t have to use this scale this is just my average bpm for genres.
**I’m not very sure about rock music.

Techno can be way faster than 140bpm
I think speed core often sounds awful on notessimo but I think it could have a lower upper bound
But if it goes over 180 (or maybe 160?) it turns into trance music.

Video Game – 80-230 bpm
