How is starburst going to add instruments, anyways? its a 64 bit MIDI, right? I didnt think you could add instruments to midis.
The instruments ARE MIDIs. He can easily add more to Notessimo, he already has once.

All the instruments are seperate MIDI files. Each drum, piano, guitar and cowbell are all their own MIDI file.
Thats not what I mean. How does I midi file support extra instruments other than ones that are already pre-designed into midi files?
If a midi file is not actually sound waves but is actually a file telling a sythesizer what to play (like pay E), how are instruments added and the file still be so small?

a midi file is not a actual song… it is pretty much a document telling you the notes. Maybe we should ask REA, he should know, considering he is a computer…
