Instruments Suggestion Thread

not always, it is best to compare it with the song you are copying if you are making it off one,
because the one I made off of Popcorn, I had to put it on b for it to sound right.

I know it’s not always, that’s why I put “to sound normal” But yeah, some songs they’re a little different.

YEPS!

Ok, thats good to know that the Alto Clef is the placeholder for the drum clef. Heres a list of drums that could be added that I feel neccisary

  1. Tenor Drum (Basically a lower version of the snare)
  2. Timbali
  3. Crash Cymbal
  4. Ride Cymbal
  5. Muted Drum

Honestly, I dont think Notessimo needs a Specific Floor or High Tom, I use the Dry Tom (Hey, I rhymed)

A wider range of Vox would be nice too.

…Chip Tune sounds.

Back to that muffling idea here’s an even more noticable song that includes the great effect of the muffle.
Listen to (Band)Pendulum and their song Streamline. When they start getting into the song, there’s that really noticable blurred out muffling effects that take place.

And the vox stuff. Yeah give us what they used like they did in Living on a Prayer.
Maybe even the song Girl In The Fire by Pendulum. K. I’m a Pendulum fanatic. But they got some good examples of what we could need for this game. In Girl in the Fire, there’s a wierd bass solo line that runs through the entire song and sounds almost like the exact same vox exact…almost.

BIG BUMP.

Hey, I don’t know where this would go but here’s an idea.
When you’re on Notessimo, like the home page or wherever, except on threads or forums, we have music faintly played in the background.
On some part of the page, it show’s what is being played and who made it. But the songs are the ones that we created.
So it’s like Notessimo Radio!

the bad part is, all the songs on there would have to be converted then put into the randomization factor, and it would just take up time that could be better used fixing the site up.

It would also probably make the site run a little slower.

I like how you “bumped” a sticky thread

here’s a possible idea…

Make a few more vocal sounds for intstruments, but add a little something to the change note settings box…add a record button so you can say the word (or syllable) that particular note is supposed to be, and have the note sound like the word you recorded into it’s database. That way you can actually do songs even if you suck at singing, because it would automatically change the sound to the setting that instrument is designed for. Make sense? If that’s possible I’d love to see it in action

I’m not sure if this has already been suggested, but it would really help if we could make our own sounds out of the ones that are already provided for us. For example, making the Strings #2 sound lower so it sounds like a cello or giving Synthesizer #2 more “scratchiness.”

How about a heavy sounding thunder sheet?

Did anyone ask for Miracas! You know that thing that makes that shakey noise…IDK what it’s called…it’s in songs that have latin pianos and stuff…

I’m thinking you meant Maracas… those things are annoying >.<

lol, i agree.

Here’s an idea:
Just use all the MIDI instruments. That way, you could easily import and export MIDI files. It would also offer a way to save your songs to your hard drive rather than trust them with your cookies or share them.

Hmmm. That sounds like a great idea. It would serve as a free MIDI composer/converter too.

Splash#1 – like a wave on the ocean crashing
Thunder#1 – thunder of course!!

just throwin this back out there

I like Jan’s idea.
