EDIT Feb.13.2020: Fixed the buildup at 2:00 to match the original song (256th notes)
This song is the reason why there are so many “black” MIDIs out there. It all started on Niconico in April 2009, originally titled “【東方】最終鬼畜妹フランドール・Sの楽譜を真黒にしてみた【MIDI】”. It was nicknamed Death Waltz as a joke because it was impossible to play, just like “Faerie’s Aire and Death Waltz”.
Note count in MIDI: 21,190 notes!
Original:
P.S. I’ve been working on this for nearly 3 years…
Apparently, someone cannot read the description.
I swear we’ve been over this a million times, but I’ll humor you: I have added “Last Brutal Sister Flandre Scarlet” to the name.
Only if you assume there can only be one song titled Death Waltz lol. It was nicknamed Death Waltz intentionally, no bad translation or anything.
Nevermind, I see what you mean. “Death Waltz” isn’t a waltz at all lol. Meh, I didn’t name it, and it’s pretty obvious it’s in 4/4.
But then again, “Faerie’s Aire and Death Waltz” may or may not be considered a waltz either, considering a larger portion of it is in 4/4 and 32/32. However, I can’t be sure of 6/1 and 54/32 because you just can’t find good documentation of those time signatures lol.
Well, that’s because I went the MIDI route. The original MIDI is actually divided into 5 Melodic Tracks, 4 “Base” (because that’s how they spelled it in the MIDI lol) tracks, 5 Chord tracks, and 12 Other Tracks. It’s less of an eyesore, but there are more notes and you can see the volume of each note.
