The guitar solo was intended to be hectic and the ending is supposed to be abrupt I’m sure that is where most criticism will be directed.

Dude, that solo was awesome. Seriously.
For some reason it reminded me of in my defense.
How you ended it was strange, but I liked the song and that solo was beast.
The solo/ending was to represent the battle getting intense and then the protagonist accepting his loss.
I thought it was quite random, in my opinion.
