Change your key. Currently you have some form of G Minor that I am not familiar with.
It’s G Major Mixolydian (example), and I think it sounds great. I don’t see why he should change it just because you’re unfamiliar with it, unless you’re offering a suggestion to switch keys later on in the song.
Anyways, great start, I like it.

Its completely possible, as my melodies are based off other songs from time to time, However Everything I write i try to be original with. Thank you for pointing it out though!

It’s okay… The synth bass didn’t really fit in the song, and it’s a bit repetitive (But so are all my songs…) But exept for that it’s pretty nice, good job!
