Anyone know how to post midi files on an internet forum so you can share with people?

You could always upload them to a file storage site and post the download link. If you’re talking about embedding them into the forum, I don’t think you can.

make a website dedicated to midis that you make, and have them embeded in each page so its played with the web browser’s quicktime plugin.

Fruity Loops maybe? I use Cakewalk Home Studio, but it’s not free. I got it for christmas a few years back.

i for one use Mixcraft and, in some occasions, Anvil Studio. i havent tested it with a midi keyboard but it works with the RB guitars going through loopbe1 and MIDItar Hero.

This may not work, but someone invented the chart2mid2midi converter for custom guitar hero songs (the old-fashioned way, before GH:WT). I forget where to get it, and it may only work for .chart files.
