All I can say is that the song was trying to be epic, instead of a lament. You had too much anger and too little sadness. Itâs easy to mix the two, because both a sad song and an epic song are usually in minor keys, and an epic leans more heavily on fast paced strikes of anger mixed in with a sad atmosphere and a sad song is usually slower and with an atmosphere that leads you to a sense of loss, however this song had elements of both. I personally donât like this not because of the way the song sounds, but rather the fact that it seems there are so many things going on on one instrument that youâd have to have at least three piano players, whereas with my Gloryâs Road all you would need is a keyboard that can do simple arpeggios and one piano for the regular song, which is what made it so great. As DC said, there has to be an aspect of a piano song that if you got sheet music for it, it could be played by one person.
Also I can see why youâve transitioned into this piano-heavy user, I believe itâs because of your style, in the beginning it was just one instrument stretched as far as possible. Because that is okay with only the piano (unless you are trying for an unusual specific song for one purpose), you have transitioned into the sort-of piano song writer on this site, and while that may be good to you, I myself would like to see more variety. I have to say that my favorite song of yours is still your collab with Qvx.
Iâd like to thank Enchanted Winter by Anthony, Melody of the Spring Rain by auroracirrus for the thunder idea, a little bit of Endless Snowflakes by Kamarai and Rain by StarWars [XD]. Yes Iâm making this song seem like an Oscar but Iâm also adding more excuse to reach the 10,000 Song post mark.
