I don’t exactly see a problem with them, do you mean to replace them with the other tom or are the just badly placed?

TFB just doesn’t like any unstandard deviation of anything, and the toms have an odd rhythm that rather compliments this song. but not in his eyes.

I don’t see any reasoning here: the blue toms did not sound good in this song.
About that unstandard deviation - I certainly enjoy my off-balance songs and dissonant chords that make a song what it is. If you want to insult me, do it in some other, more reasonable, way.

thats not what I meant by standard deviation. I meant the stereotypical rhythms and structures that are used in a lot of songs. When things have uncommon rhythms that sound odd they sound weird to people who listen to songs with a lot of standard deviation. The only problems with the blue toms are that they are a tad bit loud. The rhythm of the part itself is in no way wrong.
