yeah, now that that I think about it, that makes for an awesome potential plot.
Even if the plot isn’t too good, I think it’s still going to be great because of the overhaul they’re doing.

Well, it’s not really an overhaul. Game Freak/Nintendo are utilizing the 3D capabilities in the maps, sprites, etc. The back sprite is the whole backside of the Pokemon, and both Pokes are shown moving the whole time. You can enter buildings through the side and the one video they released of the city shows people actually walking and the buildings are circle shaped.
The only thing I’m worried about is the Pokemon designs.
oh so THATS what youre talking about, I knew about that stuff, but as far as i see (besides the water starter) the sprites are cooler than 4th gen, especially reshiram and zecrom
Yes, I despise the water starter’s sprite as well, but there are probably 100 more Pokes to be released, and they might have run out of good ideas for Pokemon designs, so the new ones could look like your pet dog named Roxy.
im hoping that the grass starter evolves into a dual grass/dragon serpent thingy, that would be awesome.

Yeah fires have the added advantage of being able to burn.
Actually, water has the advantage almost every time. They counter fire with their obvious water-type attacks. All the water evolutions can learn an ice type move to counter their grass type adversary. But I’ve chosen water so many times, that I’m going with fire.
