In pokemon silver/gold you could battle Ash (called red in-game)
I beat him so many times…
to play him more than once you had to face the elite 4 again though…

You know what I’ve been wanting to play lately? RBY. I had gotten the original Pokemon Center and Route 1 loops stuck in my head while just merely thinking about the year 1998, the year the older games hit the US. The older soundtrack was the greatest, wasn’t it? Old, bright, happy MIDI pieces are the ones I like. The newer the games get, the less meaningful (yes, the background tune has to have a meaning for it) and bright the MIDIs get IMO. I’ll leave this open to discussion.
True, most of the older games have better songs than the new ones…except. I believe that Diamond and Pearl have great music in them, what with the Champion Battle Theme, and the song that’s played when you travel north from the Battle Zone (Route 252?). Only Pokemon’s songs have improved over the years, while most games, such as Zelda: Twilight Princess (which I’m just now playing, since i borrowed it from a friend) has me wanting the old theme back. Plus, have you heard the re-mixed versions of Diamond & Pearl Wild Pokemon Battle Theme and Battle at Spear Pillar on brawl? Two of my favorites right there. Whereas the Ruby Wild Battle Theme just can’t compare.
Ya the spear pillar battle song on brawl…along with victory road on brawl (that should be a champ theme seriously IMO)
Well, zelda did improve its music some, and then reached its peak and got worse
, seriously where were the boss themes???
I think it probably reached close to its peak at Oricana of Time or Link to the Past.
But pokemon…its getting better every game ![]()
But me myself i STILL prefer the original champ overall ![]()
Yeah. The original Champion Battle theme is the best. When the franchise made the transition to GBA, the soundtrack sounded mediocre compared to the previous 2 generations IMO. There were some great ones, like Dewford Town, but they just don’t match up to the originals. DPP was better, but still lacked something. And I hated how they added the thing to the end of the already mutilated Pokemon Center Theme in DPP.
Of course the R/B/Y remakes still kept there awesomeness in my opinion
Can’t wait for the G/S/C remakes that are coming up
Gardevior is hot.
There I said it.

YO POKEPEOPLE ClIcK mY sIgNaTuRe!!!
bidoofs shud explode…who here agrees with me?
Yeah screw Bidoofs. The only good part about them is that they evolve into Bibarel, which is a really good HM slave. It can learn Rock Smash, Waterfall, Surf, and Strength.
HM slaves ftl. Real trainers use a well-balanced team of 5-6.
I only use hm slaves for flash, whirlpool, dive, waterfall, cut, and rock smash. But only towardds the beginning of a game (I end up with 6 party members and just use the move deleter for crap moves.)
sorry for 2x posting, but I think 3rd gen has the best music (includes fr/lg along with r/s/e)than 1st gen, than 4th gen, then 2nd gen,
Oh and BTW, HG/SS comes out in march .
There’s still more?! When will it end? lol
It pretty much has ended… what’s the next legendary they are going to come out with? really?

I once with two people and scrabble tiles made about 7 pokemon through random letters they were better than most they make now so im gonna make a contest to see who can make the best next set of legendary pokemon winner gets to be awesome or some prize(i dont know what it will be yet )
