Firstly, M&H is not the original (the big hit was by Hot Butter, but the song is originally by Gershon Kingsley).
Secondly, the melody is wrong in m38 (should lead into the change).

This remix uses elements mostly from the M&H version, which is why I cited it instead of Gershon Kingsley. I’ll put it in the title.
