I just lost my favouritest song on Notessimo that was saved to my brower’s cache. In fact I lost two songs today. So I was wondering if I could recover it. Because I spent ages working on it. Here’s what happened.
I was just browsing my saved songs (I had no code for any of them) when I accidently said “Save Song” instead of “Load Song”. So I lost my first song. So I said, that’s enough and I started to get the code for them. But I went to load the second song. But (again) I clicked on “Save Song” instead of “Load Song” and therefore I lost it. I really hope I can find it on my cache again.
Sadly, there’s no way of getting them back. That’s happened to me countless times.
My only advice is to share every song you save and write down the URL somewhere. Just in case.
Provided you have some kind of keyword you can search for from the title of the thing, you can always google:
site:notessimo.net keyword
For example, let’s suppose I’m a very irresponsible user who hasn’t yet spent the full 30 seconds it takes to put a notepad/MSWord/wordpad/generic word processing program on my desktop to record my urls and I’ve lost the id# for my very old Battle Beneath Icicles. Let’s even suppose I can’t remember the title, save for a single word, so I fire up ol’ google and enter “site:notessimo.net icicles” Bam.
Your results may vary. Do not not operate google if you are or plan to become pregnant. Do not operate google if you have a predisposition to mental illness, as google can cause severe hemorrhaging in the mentally infirm. Blah blah, I bored with this crap, let’s just agree that I could have kept going, and it would have been constantly entertaining throughout.
One solution is that, you have to show your recent history. Perhaps, it will there. Otherwise you have to recall your memory and search it. This is the last option. I have faced the same problem before a year. So please share at a time.
How about you just rewrite the songs? Roasty and I did that (I forget which songs, but I know they were good), and they came out a lot better than the original version that was saved over.
