Rock Thread (Original)

this is an experimental type-sounding song and completely different from what I’ve done in the past. So, let’s just see how it goes with this…

I’m pretty proud of the solo on this one. BEst one yet, Imo.

Honest feedback, please!

(On sheet 5, Did anybody notice the TF2 section? )

@isaiah
No bass?
Didn’t like the solo; too many bad notes and too short entirely.

I skipped through to the solo cause it got boring through about 3 measures.

The bass drum is too light.
Repetitive and a little slow for that kind of beat.

@pikmin
Really, really boring.
Low Metal guitar has an awful tone
I didn’t like your 3-measure choice of how long each sheet was. 4/4 time usually works with 4 measures.
Too slow on most of it, or at least too long. (I do the same thing sometimes.)
I think the chorus was nice, except for the 3 measure thing.

Main problems were repetitiveness and tone of some instruments.

I realized THAT about the solo, Im actuallt fixing that up now, And the bass, I’m also fixing… Ha.
No bass; I meant to do that. ;D . (Oh, And the solo is EXACTLY 3 measures, Right?)

Hey, Thanks, though.

OHHHH. Did’nt see that part. Haha. And, Yeah, The first 3 measures are kinda’ boring.

Yes, boring, the metal guitar and the middle part just kind of drag on.

It was good, not really a song though, and there were a few wrong notes.

Finished it.
Feedback would be appreciated.

Don’t you think using the word boring isn’t a good choice for wording Muse?

No.

…Have you not taken anything out of the arguments we have on this site?

I pardon for Muse because he doesn’t know how, pikman44.

Notice how we ignore my post.

Boring means too repetitive, which is exactly what I said too.

Muse is stating his opinion.

I’m fine with the word boring, it’s how he said it so bluntly. instead of saying “I’m sorry, but that song was boring thanks to the fact that it is too repetitive,” he said “It’s boring.”

Ok I assure you I can withstand any critisism. Yes, the song is boring in parts and this is an argument not worth having. Just keep making music guys!

I’m fine with criticism…

And I voted 5 on your song, FinalBoss.

Yes, but I also like words explaining why I got that, and what I can add to the song.

I’d help you, but I’d just make it worse.

Considering the fact I can set aside criticism if I was willing to?
Considering the fact criticism is just another way of saying something’s wrong?
Considering the fact that criticism is a good thing?
Considering the fact this is getting to be a very repetitive post?

I said it bluntly? All I said was “boring”, THEFinalBoss said “Really, really boring” just a few posts earlier. Anyway there’s nothing wrong with being blunt.
