Scarred Peace by GS

Congratulations on your first feature!

I love the rhodes in the beginning. Awesome drum beat. I liked sheets 8, 9, 7 and 10. I love a good swingy part. The violins are a nice touch. The guitar solo at sheet 12, . I love the chord at the end. Nice Job! 5/5

hey! the mods accepted this… good job smiley face for you

My god, the guitar solo is epic.

Nicely Done with those rhodes. I think you should’ve changed the end-phrases around a bit, but it was very nice overall.
The Regular Rhode Melody seemed to drag a bit until the tempo change.
The first tempo change (240 - 180) was almost invisible. I had no idea it even happened. You switched to triplets easily.
However, the SECOND tempo change (180 - 240) was much more noticeable, because you change from triplets swiftly back to the “chorus.”
Hey, add some sort of phrase-start (thats what usual cymbals are for, but I would suggest more of small cymbal (open hi-hat #3)).
I liked the solo. The build-up was horrible. That B ruined it. It was good, then the B came and Yikes!
Also a little transition issue. More like 2:

  • The Build-up for the solo was quiet and low, but the solo itself went very high and was louder. The transition between these ruined the buildup.
  • During the solo, you went from an epic guitar shredding experience that was loud and noticeable to a half note, which was less noticeable and more quiet. (It’s more of a power loss thing.)
The Final E in the solo was nice, but it was too short. 192 Length perhaps? I didn’t like it ending at the end of a phrase.
I loved the Rhodes (even though they often dragged on).
During the end of a solo, you see the guitar playing certain notes at the beginning of each phrase. I believe the order is E-D#-E-C#. Unlike E-D#-E, C# is much lower and therefore has a different tone. Maybe you should use some other sort of note there, but C# changed it’s tone too much. Maybe F#?

Most of the song was good - 4.1/5
