Songs in Odd Time-Signatures

I thought that I’d might as well make this, seeing a lack in odd time signature songs from users (other than myself).

Basically, just link any works that you’ve made in an odd time signature.

PLEASE NOTE:
Songs in the time signatures of “3/4” and “6/8” will not count as they are commonly used time signatures. The same goes with 9/8 if the 9/8 pattern is divided into three groups of threes.

I’ll go ahead and post the best one’s I’ve made:

Loop:

Can’t wait to see what you guys can make.

I’m not sure if this is the appropriate place to post something like this, but I’m not the judge of that. x:

I think that’s all I have in regard to songs with odd-time signatures.

Very nice! Now I have to make something with time signature changes. >.>

You don’t have to. xD
Unless you want to. :b

This is confusing! But it certainly adds a new element to the music. I think it works well with the percussion.

It’s not that confusing once you get the hang of it. Malice’s pieces I can see being confusing to some for the speed and so on, but with slower or more straight-forward odd time signature songs, just try to found the pulse notes (I.E. 8th notes, quarter notes, etc.). The best examples I can give is with Dave Brubeck’s “Take Five” which is in 5/4, or Don Ellis’ “Pussy Wiggle Stomp” which is in 7/4 (Where the rhythm/pattern goes (rest) 2 (rest) 4 (rest) 6 7).

Also, working on that song in changing time signatures right now. :stuck_out_tongue:
