Do you ever find yourself making a song you dont upload? I don’t mean to be mean, but please try to remember what i told you about concidering if what you upload will have appeal to other listeners or not.
What i’m saying is, that it’s ok to experiment and mess around. As a matter of fact it is something i strongly encourage. However, that does not mean you should upload every single experiment you make. Take this upload for example. You used one single instrument. You made 2 almost identical sheets and the whole thing lasts 15 seconds. It’s hard to enjoy something that short and that simple, and there is no point in sampling it since it’s easier to just make it from scratch, so you might as well not upload it at all…
You recently uploaded an edited version of some music aliens made. Even though it was repetitive it had more work put into it then this upload did and as such it was much more interesting to listen to. That is the kind of stuff you should upload. Not this stuff…
Exactly. In short, if you want to become good at this, don’t upload every single thing you make, just upload those that you think would be enjoyable to listeners.
I know it sounds harsh, but i’m trying to help. Timothy gets a lot of trash talk-comments on his audio submissions, and i think he can avoid a lot of them if he just put a bit more thought into it before he upload his submissions.
If you were reffering to the part of my post where i said his comment didnt make sense, then allow me to rephrase it: I don’t understand what he meant by “whats next”.
