The Notessimo Song: START VOTING!

I think we should stop discussing this song before we go another 8 pages of doing absolutely nothing and try to actually get shit done.

Well we have to make a list of the songs we’re using. Do you want to start making the song? Go ahead.

I agree, ix.

I think we should go with vote for an intro song, so then we can vote for what fits next.

Thank god I’m only doing the end.
Who knows a good intro song?

Thou speaketh the truth!

Something soft for the intro. Like endless snowflakes or on the moon.

why are we trying to decide on wether major or minor? many people do not know the differences here.

But many people do.

Personnally I dont see what would be bad with key changes…but Im not in band either so I wouldnt know if there was one without seeing sheet music.

If starwars, I mean aragorn, didn’t know, then how many of us do? like, 5? 6?

Major = Happy
Minor = Sad

That’s basically it.

Fix’d beyond belief.

but do you even know how to make one? did you know there are truly 3 scales inside of each minor? that there are 36 triads, not including any that have been inverted, unlike major, which has only 12? I didn’t think so

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wbHVIwSMJrw does this sound sad? maybe serious, but not sad.

Correction: there isn’t 36, its 12 + any new triads that get changed by each of the changed notes in the melodic and harmonic scale.

Yes

I find this very insulting. My understanding of Minor keys is that they are usually better for making what most people would consider “epic,” whereas Major keys are better for uplifting atmospheres. However it is completly liable to make a sad song in a major key (Free Bird is a good example, I’ve always thought it sounded rather sad, yet it’s in G Major) and a jumpy song out of a minor key (Flight of the Bumblebee).

Now, can we please stop arguing over this and begin the intro already? I said I hoped this thread would not degenerate into this, yet it has.

I also belive this is in a minor key

in fact almost all metal is in a minor key

Oh, I thought you said you didn’t know in the tutorial thread. that was muselline, though. also, it was more of a complement. it’s like," if he can’t do it, then how could anybody else?"

Oh okay. Sorry for misreading you

As a matter of fact, I do know that stuff.

Good idea. Someone start the intro. coughKamaraicough

sorry for insulting you
