Not if you write things down
thats not what I meant by visual learning but O.K.
I hate it when I annoy people when I talk about two things. ;_;
I hate the effect of alcohol abuse on society.
I’m sorry, Nuse. I’ve been trying to cut down.
Well im glad that you can write as fast as she talks. Im autistic you know. Trying to take notes just by listening to her voice is difficult. Im not retarded or anything Im just a visual learner
I hate the effect smoking has on sociaty.
Well, you never informed us of this. Get notes from a friend or ask the teacher for additional help.
I hate when people use so-called “disorders” as an excuse.
I don’t think hate is good for the world for the most part, so I limit my hate to evil and hatred.
- I hate people who deeply hate the trivial and those things that harm no one.
- I hate people who intentionally harm others in some way
Look man most teachers are just trying to do their jobs, if you can’t deal with something they are doing don’t hate them, just talk to them and try to get accommodations when necessary, or get your parents to do it if you have a hard time talking to her.
Well these “so-called ‘disorders’” actually have effects, I don’t think it should be used as an excuse for why you can’t try your hardest, but if the impairment is strong enough it can be nearly impossible to do some things. I have Aspergers, I’ve never used it as an excuse for anything, but when I was younger I couldn’t write essays because I didn’t have fine motor control. I tried my hardest, but just it didn’t work. I did learn how to do it, but it’s not the kind of thing you can just deal with right away.
Doctors don’t see you as “normal” → diagnosed with a disorder
Diagnosed with disorder → automatically give medicine as treatment
Diagnosed with disorder → you think you have the disorder (even if you didn’t before)
→ convince yourself you have these symptoms (and they become very real)
Doctor tells you its incurable → you believe it
Doctors make profit believing they’re helping people
Does labeling people in this manner really help?
While this is true for ADD and ADHD and Aspergers, there are some learning disorders that actually impair functionality in society. I don’t believe it is a disease that can be cured, not in that it is incurable, but that it should not be. However, the slow people who you see bagging groceries wouldn’t be able to deal with normal school classes most of the time, with or without drugs.
Symptoms are based off of real behaviors, and while some of these behaviors can be considered normal parts of a personality, but for them to be symptoms in a disease they have to occur to a degree such that it causes significant distress. It is usually obvious to the average person that there is a large difference in behavior from the norm.
